Artificial intelligence (AI) is a simulation of human intelligence based on machine learning and composed of algorithms. Today, the widespread use of artificial intelligence is transforming diagnosis, treatment, and care processes in healthcare services, thereby impacting nursing practices. It has been determined that AI supports individualized care plans, enhances clinical decision-making processes, and reduces workload.

However, the use of aı has also introduced certain challenges, notably data privacy, algorithmic bias, and ethical issues. Despite the many contributions of aı to nursing care, there are concerns that it may weaken empathic tendencies and nurse-patient interactions. The necessity of preserving ethical and humanistic aspects in the use of aı in nursing care is emphasized.

Therefore, nurses should ensure the balanced use of aı technology, strengthen ethical standards, and further research on the subject should be conducted. This review aims to examine the effects of aı on individualized nursing care by compiling relevant topics from the current literature.
